Rodney Glassman is making a major announcement Friday morning: Will he stay in the race?

cropped-TSON.jpg

After news of his plagiarism scandal went nationwide today, Rodney Glassman will try to divert attention from the scandal story hitting the weekend news cycle by having a last-minute press conference to announce something big. How big? So big that I can’t tell you what it is. Because it is tomorrow. Expect some half-truth followed by a smirk, because that’s how Glassman rolls. Just don’t ask him about the plagiarism, or the homophobic comments, or why he’s getting six-figures in agriculture subsidies from the government as a “vice-mayor” of Tucson, or why he let the Democratic party down by not […]

Rodney Glassman chances fall for second week in a row to 3.9% – FAIL

cropped-TSON.jpg

Glassman used to have a 1.5% chance of winning the election. Then a few weeks ago, his chances surged over 300% and he now had about a 5% chance of winning. The campaign emails said there was a chance, his popularity is soaring after all. Now his numbers have fallen for the second week in a row. Now Glassman only has a 3.9% chance of beating McCain. People wondered why McCain didn’t come out attacking during the US Senate debate? He didn’t need to. Glassman was like a bothersome fly that he was trying to ignore. How will Rodney deal […]

Rupert Murdoch wants amnesty for immigrants?

Thanks to Lou Show for bringing this to my knowledge. In case you don’t know who Murdoch is, he owns Fox News. Where’s Cholla Jumps when you need him? Corporation CEO Rupert Murdoch said he supports amnesty for “law abiding” illegal immigrants because as legal residents they can help the nation’s economy by adding to “our tax base.” via Rupert Murdoch Calls for Amnesty for ‘Law-Abiding’ Illegal Immigrants. Jon Hulburd, another Democrat not worth voting for?

cropped-TSON.jpg

Jon Hulburd is running against Quayle in CD3. This is another prime example of a horrible Republican running that should not win, facing a horrible Democrat that makes you wonder what the heck is wrong with the Arizona Democratic Party? It is almost as if they want the Republicans to win? Or even if a Democrat wins, the Republican agenda wins? As for Hulburd’s support of SB 1070, and his opposition to the DREAM Act, his campaign spokesman, Josh Abner, tells New Times: “Jon supports SB 1070 because it finally woke up the federal government to act on improving the […]

John Huppenthal wants more school teachers without college educations

cropped-TSON.jpg

The problem with college is all that learning. Huppenthal also lays out a beautiful argument to get rid of HB2281 below. Reality has a liberal bias, and thus what you learn in college about reality will have a liberal bias. I’m guessing Huppenthal is making his comment below so that special financial aid given to education students, who then have to teach for a number of years to pay it off, can be cut since obviously a college education for teachers is government “waste.” Public schools should be able to hire individuals with no specialized education training to teach in […]

A plague arising claim found in Rodney Glassman's Ph.D. work?

cropped-TSON.jpg

Watch out for them darn pesky “progressive” blogs! The Arizona Daily Star is reporting that Rodney Glassman’s dissertation may be questionable, to put it lightly. U.S. Senate candidate Rodney Glassman is facing allegations he plagiarized some parts of his dissertation for his doctorate in arid land resource sciences. The 246-page dissertation, completed in 2005, has many passages that match, nearly word for word, previously published scientific works by others. The allegations first surfaced on a local, self-described “progressive” blog Wednesday. via Glassman’s Ph.D. work questioned. What if Joe Arpaio was named Jose Arpayaso?

cropped-TSON.jpg

Stephen Lemons asks a very interesting question. Why does the Nogales Mayor get the shackles and prison stripes with Terry Goddard proclaiming justice, whereas Sheriff Arpaio can get slapped with multiple lawsuits, including a civil rights lawsuit from the DOJ, and… nothing… still on the job chasing the Mexicans across the Arizona concrete jungle in poor neighborhoods… Joe Arpaio, Will He Get the “Nogales Mayor Treatment” from Terry Goddard and the FBI? Watching the footage of Nogales Mayor Octavio Garcia-Von Borstel and his father Octavio Garcia Suarez dragged before a judge in shackles and prison stripes after their arrests on […]

Freshman jumps to death after roommate's webcam catches sex act

cropped-TSON.jpg

This story is just sad. The peeping tom had a hidden camera in the room and posted his 18-year room roommate exploring his sexuality with another man, then posted the video live on the internet. The student then posted “jumping off the gw bridge sorry” to his Facebook, and jumped to his death. 1 — It is just wrong what the roommate did, broadcasting the sex act live on the internet. 2 — It is sad that the student took his life, probably because of the of his secret getting out like that. http://video-cdn.abcnews.com/100929_wabc_rutgers_sex_embed.mp4 Buy Three Sonorans a coffee!
