VIDEO: Las Nubes in Camouflage

Estimadas(os): Does it mean we have arrived, that we are considered true, actual, card-carrying Americans when the U.S. Army marches down the street in broad daylight playing “Las Nubes,” Little Joe and La Familia’s signature song, which has been described as a “Chicano anthem,” and which the writer of “Las Nubes” says was inspired by Cesar Chavez and the UFW movement?

Mayhaps we can get the Marines to play “De Colores” at the next military parade…

And the Navy to play “El Picket Sign”…

And the Air Force to play “No nos moverán”…

And the Coast Guard to play “El corrido de Aztlán”…
