Must-watch VIDEO documentary! Outlawing Shakespeare: The Battle for the Tucson Mind

I highly recommend watching the latest documentary (above) to be released focusing on Tucson and its largest school district (TUSD) and how the leaders of superintendent John Pedicone’s district allowed a racist state law to supersede a federally protected educational program for minorities which was benefitting all students.

The documentary addresses questions and issues that I never have and includes video I have never seen before until now. It also provides a nice summary of the events that took place, and includes interviews with politicians on all sides of the political spectrum, from State Senator Gallardo to Tucson Mayor Rothschild to Attorney General Tom Horne.

The video is also timely and should be watched by all before the election since it addresses an important issue that arose last year with the passes of a board member and how the important pro-MAS Democratic voice of Judy Burns was replaced with the anti-MAS Republican Sugiyama who is also running in this year’s election.

Below is the summary from its YouTube page.
