Celebrate “World Pi Day” on 3.14 at The Loft with a special screening of Darren Aronofsky’s classic sci-fi/math thriller Pi on the big screen, followed by a lively discussion on infinity and the significance of the concept of Pi led by Bruce J. Bayly, University of Arizona Associate Professor of Mathematics, and Kenneth D. McLaughlin, University of Arizona Associate Professor of Mathematics. And check out the Arizona Mathematic Road Show Bus, which will be on site at the event, courtesy of the University of Arizona College of Science and School of Mathematical Sciences!
