Tucson adopts “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy for Mexican students in TUSD schools

Tucson’s Democratic leaders have adopted a new DADT policy for DREAMers in TUSD schools. It was exactly 4 years ago, on December 18th, 2010, that the DREAM Act failed in the US Senate after passing in the House. This bill would have provided a path for citizenship for undocumented youth who were brought to the USA as minors by their and attended US schools, but who are in a limbo after growing up assimilated in a country that does not view their human value until a paper is notarized.
