Mass Shooting Inside Texas Church, at Least 27 People Dead

The massacre took place in a congregation of 50 people.
Another mass shooting rocked America Sunday, in a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. An unincorporated community home to about 350 people, reports indicate at least 27 people have died in the shooting, according to CNN. One suspect is dead at the scene.

The First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, a congregation of about 50 people, became the site of a tragedy. KSAT reported that two Airlife helicopters are also at the scene. Twenty people were reportedly injured, Houston Chronicle reported. It marks the fourth deadliest shooting in U.S. history.The pastor of the church, Frank Pomeroy, said that his 14-year-old daughter was one of the victims, ABC News reported.

Sutherland Springs is about 20 miles east of San Antonio.

U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro represents the district. He tweeted Sunday that he was monitoring the situation and praying for the victims.

Trump was also quick to comment on the tragedy, tweeting, "May God be w/ the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas."
