Roy Moore Backer Likens Molestation to Stealing a Lawnmower in Horrifying Interview
A stunning CNN panel discussion with Brooke Baldwin found Brandon Mosely of the Alabama Political Reporter, a backer of GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore, attempting to minimize accusations that he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old. Mosely went on a disgraceful tangent about how such sexual assault was only a "misdemeanor" at the time. “Brandon, she was — she was 14 years of age,” Baldwin said with incredulity as Mosely tried to deflect onto drug use accusations against past Democratic presidents. Instead of realizing how repugnant the comparison's were after Baldwin challenged him on the moral implications of sexually abusing minors, Mosely doubled down. “If, you know, Roy Moore has stolen a lawnmower when he was 21 that’s bad. But that’s not a reason 50 years later to all of a sudden, you know, throw him off the ballot,” he said. Baldwin promptly told Mosely not to "go there." Watch the repulsive interview below.
